Les Arcs
Visit the Outgoing Ski home page to see all our available all inclusive and self catering ski and snowboard holidays.
Les Arcs is an excellent resort situated at the foot of the Aiguille Grive Mountain Range, 20 minutes from the town of Bourg St Maurice and facing Mont Blanc. Les Arcs offers fantastic skiing and boarding and a lively apes ski scene, in particular in the village of 1800 which is considered to be the party place of Les Arcs.
The skiing and riding in Les Arcs is varied, extensive and caters extremely well for beginners while challenging slopes are available for the more experienced. Les Arcs is now one of the worlds biggest ski regions due to the opening of the Paradiski region last year which saw Les Arcs directly linked with La Plagne through the Vanoise Express cable car. With 420 km of marked piste the Paradiski area is bigger than the world famous 3 Valleys!
Les Arcs is also great for freeriding, the area off the Trans Arc cable car gives access to some great off piste riding. There are plenty of natural kickers about for the freestylers and also a snow park with lots of man made jumps. There are also lots of well groomed, wide open pistes that are generally crowd free most of the time especially the higher grade runs.
