La Plagne is a purpose built resort, made up of ten different villages, each with its own style. La Plagne 1800 is a more traditional village with quaint buildings and alpine feel where La Plagne Centre is the main hub of nightlife and apres ski. La Plagne is set at a high altitude in the Savoie French Alps which means that snow is reliable, with over 200km of piste, skiing at La Plagne is extensive.

All standards are catered for very well, advanced standards will enjoy the black runs on the Bellecote glacier, the long runs lined with trees that run from Aime La Plagne past Plagne 1800 and the of piste action which is good also. Beginners will be happy on the nursery slopes which are adjacent to each village and the easy slopes that run between each centre.

Within La Plagne there are over 50 restaurants to choose from with each village offering something different. There are also various bars and nightclubs and activities such as ice skating, bowling, cinema and even an Olympic standard bob sleigh for those who feel adventurous!
