Sitting at a privileged location just 8kms away from Chamonix, Argentiere has the best of both worlds. It is one of the world's most famous off piste areas with amazing opportunities for advanced skiers and boarders, but it also has gentle, immaculately groomed wide nursery slopes for beginners plus an abundance of blue and red runs.

The resort itself has numerous shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The Officer's Bar attracts a lively crowd and offers some of the liveliest apres ski in Argentiere. There are also regular shuttle buses to the famous neighbouring resort of Chamonix. All of this is complimented by the breathtaking backdrop of Mont Blanc.

Other activities in the Argentiere and Chamonix area include snowmobiling, ice climbing (best done with a guide), ice hiking, snowshoeing, sleigh riding, and dog sledding, among others, so you'll never be short of activities to get stuck into
