With a top altitude of 3230 metres Val Thorens is the highest resort in Europe and has an excellent snow record from November to May. Val Thorens is part of the world famous Three Valleys ski area and has a great range of terrain both on and off piste.

The resort is also renowned for having a young, lively apres ski scene.

Other resort facilities include indoor swimming pool, squash and tennis courts, numerous shops and a good variety of restaurants.
